It is a voice communication program that allows you to speak with people via microphone

If you wish to download ventrilo you may do so here

and then go to the downloads section ventrilo is available for mac and windows

Download the client and install.

Then you are set see you on there!

ok yes i have a mac and i dont know why really cant be assed trying to learn how to use the thing properly but once lease is up its going back trust me....

but apart from my "venting" pun intended... turns out the reason i cant use vent at the moment is because of the codec setting or something.

macs dont work with GSM 6.10 codec they use something called speex.

says one thing that might work is if the codec setup on vent is changed or something i really have no idea about this stuff anymore to support speex rather then GSM 6.10
but yea i dont know if use know what im rambling about and know of a way to fix this problem im having let me know if not then oh well ill just wait till i change back to a pc...

yeah man i'll look it up how to get it working for you but im sure you can change the codec and there is a mac version you mAY download at the ventrilo site but im not sure about it what version of mac have you got?
